Where & When to purchase?

The plants that over-winter wake up naturally with the outdoor weather. They are not in a greenhouse. Therefore, the online inventory will be updated as the plants emerge in their pots, typically by mid-May.
Plants that tend to emerge later than this include Swamp Hibiscus (Hibiscus moscheutos), Showy Tick-trefoil (Desmodium canadense), New York Ironweed ( Vernonia noveboracensis), Butterfly Milkweed ( Asclepias tuberosa), . These plants may not be fully emerged by June 1.
The pick-up at CMHA in Owen Sound will be Friday May 24 (before noon), Tuesday, June 4 at 5 p.m., and Tuesday, June 19 at 5 p.m. Refer to Pick-Up Options for pick-up point addresses and times.
The first pick-up at By The Bluffs will be Saturday, May 25, 2024 (this date has moved ahead 1 week due to earlier plant emergence).
2024 Plant Sales at By The Bluffs
- Saturday May 25, June 1, 15, 22 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- NOTE: If it is a cool spring and plants have not emerged in their pots, the first plant sale could be canceled.
- Access via driveway to the house.
- In-person nursery visits to purchase plants can also be made by appointment.
Durham Herb Sale
- Saturday, June 8, 2024 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Riverside Park, Queen Street South, Durham, West Grey
- Order online and have it delivered to this event! Be sure to make a note within your order to let me know. Orders must be submitted through the website by Thursday June 6 at midnight. Minimum order $50 for delivery.
CMHA Plant Sale, Owen Sound
- Friday, May 24, 2024 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (I will be present in the morning) (This date has changed from the 31st to the 24th!)
- Order online and have it delivered to this event! Be sure to make a note within your order to let me know. Orders must be submitted and paid for by Wednesday midnight. Mimimum order $50 for delivery. Pick-up must be before noon.
