Pick-Up Options

 

Bare root tree seedlings are to be picked up at By The Bluffs Plant Nursery. The season for pick-up is indicated next to the product on your confirmation email, as one of the following options:

 

• "Pick-up Spring" - In early spring, likely early to mid-March, you will be notified via email two weeks in advance of the pick-up date. This date is weather dependent, as the trees must stay dormant but the snow must be melted in order for me to dig them up here. The pick-up date will be a Saturday, and typically occurs in late March/early April. 
• "Pick-up Late Autumn" - Seedlings must drop most of their leaves prior to transplanting. This is weather dependent. This will be a Saturday, and typically occurs in mid-November. You will be notified by email within one to two weeks before this pick-up date.

 

PLANT PICK-UP OPTIONS (excluding bare root tree seedlings)

1. Pick-up at By The Bluffs Plant Nursery on Saturdays

Plant orders must be received and paid for by Wednesday evening for Saturday pick-up, anytime after 9 a.m. First pick-up date is Saturday, May 17, 2025. E-transfers are preferred payment option, and can be found during check-out under "Alternative Payments".

Your order will be labeled with your name and placed on the pick-up table at the end of the garage. Cardboard boxes are provided to transport your plants. 

By The Bluffs Nursery pick-up is the option by default unless otherwise specified, as outlined below.

2.  Pick-up at Durham Herb Fair - Saturday, June 14, 2025   9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Riverside Park in Durham (next to the Northern Credit Union on Queen Street South in Durham). Minimum orders of $50 applies. No delivery fees. Orders must be submitted through the website by Wednesday June 11 at midnight.
