- Plant Description - Early summer flowers that grow in moist to wet soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 6'-8' tall, with a similar spread. This plant's berries are edible when cooked, and it has medicinal qualities. Attracts butterflies, beneficial insects, birds and mammals. Deer resistant. Juglone tolerant. Native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, as well as other regions in Ontario.
