- Scientific Name - Physocarpus opulifolius
- Plant Description - Summer flowers that grow in wet to dry soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 7'. This plant is medicinal. Attracts butterflies, beneficial insects, birds and mammals. Juglone tolerant, can be grown as hedgerows, windbreaks, erosion control and in rock gardens.
- Native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, as well as other regions of Ontario.
