  • Plant Description - Spring flowers that grow on shrubs in wet to dry soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 15'. This plant is edible, medicinal, aromatic, and fixes nitrogen. Leaves can be used as a substitute for bay leaves.  It is a dioecious shrub, which means male and female flowers are on separate plants, and only the female plants will bear fruit.
