  • Pick-Up Details for Bare Root Seedlings -
      • Tree must near dormancy before they are dug up. Typically the pick-up is mid-November. To prepare for your trees, dig and loosen the soil in the hole, and then cover the hole with a thick layer of leaf litter/straw to prevent the soil from freezing and then a large piece of plywood to keep the snow off. If you get snow it is then easy to move the plywood, so you can easily plant the seedling.
