  • Plant Description - Spring flowers on shrubs that grow in dry to moist, sandy soil and full sun. Grows 3' to 10' tall. This plant is edible and medicinal. It attracts butterflies, beneficial insects, birds and mammals. It is a great plant to use for erosion control.
  • Pollination - Self-fertile. Only one plant is needed to produce fruit.
  • Native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, as well as other regions of Ontario.
