- Scientific Name - Rosa blanda
- Plant Description - Early summer flowering shrub that grows in clay, sand and loam, and dry to moist soil, and part sun. Grows up to 4-7'. This plant is high in Vitamin C, and is edible and medicinal. Attracts butterflies, beneficial insects, birds and mammals. Can be grown in rock gardens.
