- Plant Description - Summer flowers that grow in moist soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 3-6'. This plant is toxic, do not consume berries, but has medicinal properties. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies and mammals. Great in as a hedge, grown for winter interest and winter berries for birds. Deer resistant. Host plant for the Snowberry hummingbird and Clearwing moth. Attracts parasitic wasps.
