Plant Description - Summer flowers that grow in moist soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 3-6'. This plant is toxic, do not consume berries, but has medicinal properties. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies and mammals. Great in as a hedge, grown for winter interest and winter berries for birds. Deer resistant. Host plant for the Snowberry hummingbird and Clearwing moth. Attracts parasitic wasps.
Native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, as well as other regions of Ontario.
