Plant Description - Late summer to early autumn flowers that grow in moist, well-drained soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 6'. This plant is medicinal. Attracts butterflies, beneficial insects, birds and mammals. Pink fruit can be used for dye. Stems used for straw.
Native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, as well as other regions of Ontario.
