- Scientific Name - Veronicastrum virginicum
- Plant Description - Summer flowers that grow in moist to wet soil and full sun. Grows up to 4-7’. This plant is medicinal. Attracts butterflies, beneficial insects. Good vertical height for borders, rain gardens, cottage gardens, and wildlife gardens. Deer and herbivore resistant.
- Not native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula, Grey County nor Bruce County, but native to other regions in Ontario.
