Plant Description - Summer flowers that grow in moist to dry soil and full to part sun. Grows up to 3-5'. This plant is edible, medicinal. Attracts butterflies, attracts beneficial insects. Hedgerow plant, juglone tolerant. Deer resistant.
Not native to the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula but native to other regions in Ontario and therefore considered an 'Introduced Native' according to the Vascular Plant List Bruce & Grey: Compendium, 2023.
